Everytime you hand over a responsibility to the government, it gives them more power to say what you can and cannot do. Trading freedom for a government controlled health care system is a choice you are making. I think your equation the more government, the less freedom surely does not work. The government broke up monopolies to allow for greater competition, more obviously, it was individuals who kept slaves, not governments. It was the power of the government that ended slavery and fought to secure equal rights in schools, jobs etc. one last point for tonight. It's no secret that something needs to be done with our health care system, but no one seems to be able to fix it. Prescription Drugs are way too expensive as well.
